Medical
Mashiah Foundation (MF) provides free medical consultation and drugs for those infected with HIV/AIDS.
After receiving counseling and testing for HIV, the family member then sees the doctor who consults with
them and prescribes the appropriate drugs to treat any opportunistic infections they are experiencing.
The family member then collects free drugs from the Mashiah Foundation pharmacy. Family member is MF’s term
for Person Living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA).

Approximately 400 family members visit the clinic on a regular basis. Many of them credit Mashiah
Foundation with keeping them healthy in the midst of living with HIV/AIDS. Plans are underway to begin building a 25-bed hospital on
Mashiah Foundation's permanent site.
